Fuzion Sites · Project guide

How a website project works, start to launch.

A plain-language overview of what happens after you reach out, what we need from you, and what you receive at the end. It applies to every build, from a $500 Launch Page to a custom project.

Before you begin

An inquiry is a conversation, not a commitment.

To start, fill out the Start a Project form on our homepage. The form prepares an email draft on your device, and you must send that draft from your email app for it to reach us. Nothing is delivered automatically. Sending it simply opens the conversation; it does not commit you to a project or a price.

This guide is a general overview, not a binding contract. Your written proposal controls the deliverables, dates, payments and support for your project.

The process

Eight steps from inquiry to handover.

  1. Submit the form and send the email draft

Complete the Start a Project form, then send the email draft it opens. Include a phone number or email address so we can reply. Never include passwords or account credentials.

  2. We review your request

We read through your goals, the content you already have, and any gaps, so the first conversation is useful instead of repetitive.

  3. A brief meeting

We talk through your audience, budget and scope. For a Launch Page this is a short call; larger builds may need more planning.

  4. Written proposal

You receive a proposal that sets the scope, exclusions, revision allowance, responsibilities on both sides, timeline and payment schedule. Work begins only after you accept it.

  5. Content and access

You provide approved content and securely delegate access to accounts such as your domain registrar. We will show you how to grant access without sharing passwords. The schedule depends on when assets and feedback arrive.

  6. Preview and one consolidated revision

You review a working preview and send one consolidated round of in-scope changes. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted before we do it.

  7. Final checks and approval

We check mobile layout, links, and forms where applicable. You give written approval, and final payment is made according to your agreement.

  8. Launch and handover

We connect your domain and launch, then hand over accounts, access, source files and assets as agreed in your proposal.

Ownership, costs & support

What you own, and what is separate.

Ownership. Ownership of the website transfers to you at final payment, as described in your proposal. Some items are licensed rather than owned: third-party fonts, stock images, plugins, themes and software services remain subject to their providers' licenses, and those terms continue to apply after launch.

Domain and hosting. Domain registration and hosting are separate from the build price. You keep your domain in your own name with the registrar of your choice. Hosting is either arranged by you or provided through our optional Care plan.

Support. Support after launch is whatever is agreed in writing. Care ($99/mo) includes hosting, backups, security, software updates, uptime monitoring, small content edits and email support. No monthly plan is required to buy a build, and monthly plans are month-to-month.

No launch guarantees. Timelines are estimates that depend on content, access and feedback. No package guarantees search rankings, traffic or revenue.

Choosing a starting point

Launch Page or Starter?

Both are single pages. The Launch Page is a simple professional presence for a business getting started, built from content you already have. Starter is a fuller one-page site with more working features.

Client preparation checklist

Gather these before we start.

  • Business or organization name, as it should appear
  • Final, approved text for each section
  • Logo file (PNG, SVG or high-resolution JPG)
  • Photos you own or have permission to use
  • List of services or offerings
  • Phone number, email and service area
  • Domain name and registrar, if you have one
  • Who will approve content and give feedback
  • Any deadline or event the site should support
  • Examples of websites you like

Keep credentials private. Do not put passwords in the form or in email. When access is needed, we will walk you through delegating it securely from your own account.
